Thermal fluid systems are delivered to a high number of mercantile ship types and can also be used on Floating Production Systems. Thermal fluid systems are often supplied as complete engineered systems and we strive to supply high performance, reliable and environmentally friendly solutions.
Why thermal fluid heating systems on board of ships?
In thermal fluid systems, the produced heat is transferred to the ship’s heat consumers by means of a transfer fluid, usually a mineral or synthetic oil. Pumps circulate the fluid through the closed system, passing fuel oil-fired heaters and economizers. The fluid remains in liquid-phase during the whole process.
