The world’s leading marine boiler manufacturer – Aalborg Industries A/S - is on a continual basis seeking prospective service engineers to contribute to the constant growth of the company. Aalborg Industries A/S provides professional marine boiler solutions in a dynamic and competitive market.

As a service engineer in Aalborg Industries A/S you will be working in the Order Management Marine Boilers Department in Aalborg, Denmark or our Marine After-Sales department. The departments are operating in an international, dynamic and customer-oriented market where the demands are changing rapidly and a strong customer orientation is needed in order to succeed. As an employee you will join a dynamic and flexible team; the work tasks are complex and offer professional and personal challenges.

The main tasks in the position are:

• Commissioning of new boiler plants world-wide
• Service and troubleshooting tasks on boilers, burners and control systems
• Inspection tasks on boilers and related systems
• Training of crew in connection with commissioning and onboard voyage
• Participation in ad hoc projects

The position implies international travel activities and it is important to be flexible, independent and feel comfortable operating in a multinational environment. The work pace is high and the ability to co-operate in an active and dynamic work environment is paramount. It is important that you are well-organized and able to build and maintain confidence with our customers. English, spoken and written, must be mastered, and good computer skills are essential for the position and you must be in possession of a valid driving licence.

It requires a marine engineer or industrial electrician examination with wide insight into electrical/electronic control systems and components to be a pool service engineer. If you consider the position, experience from a similar employment will be an advantage, and it is preferred that you have worked as a marine engineer.
