Aalborg Industries in Brazil
Aalborg Industries has been present in Brazil since 1985, originally in Itú, São Paulo state, but since 2000 in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state.
ATA was founded in 1938 and was initially dedicated to production of industrial oil burners, but in 1954 successfully began producing fire tube boilers.
The company was acquired by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 1973, which soon led the company to a prominent position in the Brazilian boiler market.
The company became part of Aalborg Industries as per June 2000. With more than 11,100 boilers delivered, the company keeps its market leadership position for supply of industrial three-pass boilers in Brazil, supplying boilers with capacity range up to 35,000 kg/h of steam. Most of the boilers are supplied with an advanced PLC control system.

The company focuses on high quality in all work procedures, with ISO 9001 quality management certificate and ASME stamps.
The company has two branch offices: an After Sales and Service of Industrial Boilers from São Paulo city office and After Sales & Service to marine and Floating Production Systems from Macaé in Rio de Janeiro state.
Aalborg Industries S.A. has a team of specialized engineers and technicians as well as modern equipment installed in an industrial area of 17,000 m2 in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro state. |
