History

The company was established as Aalborg Boilers (Singapore) Pte Ltd on January 1st, 1978 as Aalborg Shipyard's first marine boiler service company abroad and quickly grew to a leading marine boiler service supplier in South East Asia. In 1995, the Aalborg Sunrod and Aalborg Boilers companies merged. In 1997 the company changed its name into Aalborg Industries Pte Ltd.

In addition to a marine boilers service and sales of the company's marine products, Aalborg Industries Pte Ltd carries out some service on industrial boiler. In the last few years, the company's has been heavily involved in Singapore's thriving tanker conversion (Floating Production Systems) business delivering deck mounted boilers and converting boilers and burner systems.
