Aalborg Industries' boiler factory in Vietnam delivers its 100th boiler

On 29 FEB 2008, Aalborg Industries Co. Ltd. in Hai Phong delivered its boiler number 100 since its production start in 2006. The milestone was reached with the delivery of a 12 t/h MISSION™ OL oil-fired steam boiler to 21st Century Shipbuilding in Tongyang, South Korea for a chemical/oil products tanker commissioned by Perosea Shipping Co. SA in Greece.
Boiler engineering and boiler accessories such as the KBSD steam atomizing burner and the control panel have been supplied from Aalborg Industries’ headquarters in Denmark, but all production and quality control have been completed on par with the Group’s quality standard by the factory in Hai Phong. The boiler is supplied as a complete unit, fitted with valves, burner and control system.
Aalborg Industries Co. Ltd. is the first marine boiler factory to be established in Vietnam and now has more than 100 fully trained and enthusiastic staff. In the less than two years the factory has been in commercial operation, boilers and exhaust gas economizers have been manufactured for Vietnamese as well as various Korean, Chinese and Indian shipyards for shipowners of many nationalities. Aalborg Industries Co. Ltd. is proud to be a part of the booming shipbuilding and outfitting industry in Vietnam.
Aalborg Industries’ welders and craftsmen have been trained as qualified industrial workers who meet high technical requirements in the shipping industry. Aalborg Industries Co. Ltd. in Hai Phong reached a satisfactory business result in 2007, and more than 120 boilers are scheduled for delivery in 2008.
