From its inception in 1981, Marintec China has developed into the definitive maritime conference and exhibition in Asia. In 2005, the Danish princess HRH Princess Alexandra opened the Danish Export Association's exhibition. Marintec China 2005 attracted 1,032 exhibiting companies and 30,097 visitors to the fair and was the largest edition of its 24 years of history.
With more and more international companies exhibiting at the fair every year and the concurrent Senior Maritime Conference attracting more and more international awareness, Marintec China has become the most important international maritime trade fair in the region.
Aalborg Industries has sales & service offices in Shanghai, Dalian and Guangzhou in China where the three big shipbuilding bases in China are located. In addition, Aalborg Industries' boiler and heat exchanger factory in Qingdao, China, in the world's biggest marine boiler factory.
In recognition of the booming shipbuilding market in China, at the Marintec 2007 exhibition Aalborg Industries will be showcasing its specialist and innovative products and systems from from all its offices around the world.
