New Managing Directors of the Aalborg Industries companies in Finland, Singapore and Korea

As at February 1st, three of the Aalborg Industries companies will be headed by new managing directors.
In Aalborg Industries Oy in Rauma, Finland, Mr. Harri Lotila assumes the post of managing director, succeeding Mr. Rainer Malmelin who retires after more than five years at the helm. Mr. Lotila has worked for Aalborg Industries since November 1995 as a project manager and sales manager of the industrial waste heat recovery boiler department in Finland. He is 37 years of age and has a background as a B.Sc. (Energy Technology) by education.
Aalborg Industries Oy designs, markets and services marine steam boilers and economizers of the MISSION(tm) and UNEX(tm) brands, as well as industrial waste heat recovery boilers.
We would like to thank Mr. Malmelin for his contributions to the development of Aalborg Industries Oy and congratulate Mr. Harri Lotila on his new challenges.
In Aalborg Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore, Mr. Hans Jørn Madsen takes on the position as managing director, succeeding Mr. Sven Hvilborg who on his latest stint at the Singapore branch served 2 1/2 years as its managing director. An M.Sc. (Engineering) by education, Mr. Madsen is 37 years old and has been employed with Aalborg Industries since 1994 when he joined the company in Denmark as an R&D engineer. He comes from a position as managing director of the Korean branch which he has undertaken for the past two years. Before that he was employed as technical manager at PT Aalborg Industries in Indonesia for some years and also has diverse experience from the head office in Denmark and from Aalborg Industries KK in Japan. Aalborg Industries Pte Ltd was established in 1978 and is firmly established as an experienced and professional marine boiler service company and supplier of new boilers, burners, heaters and services to the regions maritime and offshore (FPS) industries. The company has recently set up a boiler engineering centre as part of the Group's Technology and Operation network.
We would like to thank Mr. Hvilborg for his contributions during his more than 30 years with Aalborg Industries and wish Mr. Hans Jørn Madsen the best of luck in his position as managing director of our company in Singapore.
Succeeding Mr. Madsen in Korea, Mr. Hee-Joon Park has been appointed managing director of Aalborg Industries Ltd. in Busan, South Korea. Mr. Park has served as a sales manager and lately Vice President of the company in which he has been employed since November 1998. Mr. Park is 44 years old. He has a background as a mechanical engineer and started his career at design department in the shipyards.
Aalborg Industries has been established in Korea for more than a decade and the present company became a private limited company in 2000. The company carries out engineering, sales and commissioning of marine boilers and economizers and markets the Group's thermal fluid heaters, heat exchangers and inert gas systems.
