Appreciation Award to Aalborg Industries, Pusan

Coinciding with the KorMarine biannual exhibition in Pusan from 24-27 October 2007, Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. presented Appreciation Awards to only 40 companies among their more than 1,000 overseas suppliers.
Aalborg Industries, represented by local managing director Hee-Joon Park (of Aalborg Industries Ltd., Pusan) and general manager Ole Lund (of parent company Aalborg Industries A/S, Denmark), were present at the gala dinner during which Mr. Lund accepted the award from Hyundai Heavy Industries “in recognition of outstanding contributions to our business growth and partnership as excellent supplier to Hyundai Heavy Industries” as the plaque states.
As usual, Aalborg Industries were exhibiting at KorMarine (3 exhibition in one: Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment Industry, Naval & Defense Industries and Sea-port Industry ) which this year had 1,203 exhibitors from 40 countries and gathered more than 62,000 visitors during the fair.
Many representatives from shipyards, shipowners, ship management companies, etc. paid a visit to Aalborg Industries’ booth. On 25 October, vice chairman of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Dr. Gye Sic Min, visited our booth and expressed his appreciation of Aalborg Industries’ product quality and accurate deliveries.
In October 2007, Aalborg Industries were awarded an Appreciation Award at a gala dinner hosted from Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
